If you run a small business and use the Internet to search for resources, it's likely your browser bookmarks are an indispensable tool. When you are on the road and don?t have access to your computer, you can import your bookmarks to your iPad using iTunes. Apple iPads, iPods and iPhones are compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating system and can use bookmarks from the Internet Explorer browser. Before you can sync your bookmarks, though, you must edit the settings in the Info pane of the iPad's sync screen.
Step 1
Launch iTunes on your Windows computer.
Step 2
Connect your iPad to the computer using the USB cable supplied with the device. ITunes automatically detects and connects to the iPad.
Step 3
Click on the iPad's name in the Devices section in the left pane.
Step 4
Click the "Info" tab near the top of the iTunes window.
Step 5
Place a check mark in front of the "Bookmarks" option in the Advanced section to enable Bookmark synchronization.
Step 6
Click "Apply" to save the settings and begin syncing the iPad with your computer. All bookmarks are imported to the iPad.
